I started my quest to make an online income from home about 6 months ago, although I had already been working at home on eBay for several years part time before this. However I wanted an income source that would keep working even when I stopped. I found with eBay that as long as I was continually sending items out and answering questions and listing more items that I would make money. However if I stopped then the income would stop too.
I was looking for something which could be a major income source and which would allow me to work whenever I wanted and that did not tie me to the house.
Now with online income generation I concentrate solely on automated systems which allow for money to be made even when the computer is off and when I am not working. All the work is done previously and the system works completely automatically generating income 24 hours a day.
This takes some time obviously to set up and to understand how it works. Once it is set up you can concentrate on building traffic to your sites and creating relevant content.
The principle behind this general idea is to create small sites which can either be blogs or websites which generate an income from your visitors. Your visitors come to your site and either click on your adverts or buy your affiliate products which you have placed on the site to generate revenue.
Once the site is running you can generate a small income from passive organic traffic - people visiting your site through natural search engines. You can also pay for advertising on Google AdWords but this is another option. Ideally the traffic to your sites should be free.
Making money online, once you have understood a few key concepts can be fairly straightforward and although for me it has taken some time for the results to show it soon gathers steam and you can see your income rising exponentially.
The best thing about making money online in this way is that you can build on previous work which will still generate income for years to come. Once you have built your first income stream and see it working you can build many more and there is no limit to the number of streams you can generate.
